Of course you can also go to DecoMeubel for tailor-made loose shelves such as windowsill, bookshelf, loose table top, stair step etc. (PS: the stairs in our showroom are also made of TEAK :)). DecoMeubel uses only heartwood for all of its products and is therefore guaranteed NOT sapwood and NO chemical colorants. This allows you to easily color your individual boards using wax, oil, stain, or varnish. We can heartily recommend products from the Rubio Monocoat brand and can be supplied in no less than 40 different colors (check here )
Mail or call us the size you want (length, width and thickness), and you will immediately receive a quote or calculate the price yourself as follows:
If the longest side is no longer than 240 cm:
XXX 0.006 = the price in euros including 21% VAT, excluding any shipping costs.
If the longest side is longer than 240 cm but shorter than 300 cm:
XXX 0.007 = the price in euros including 21% VAT, excluding any shipping costs.
If the longest side is longer than 300 cm but shorter than 580 cm:
XXX 0.009 = the price in euros including 21% VAT, excluding any shipping costs.
580 cm is also the longest available size. Note: The minimum thickness for teak boards is 2.5 cm. ALL boards are made to measure in Indonesia. As a result, the delivery time for boards up to 240 cm is approximately 3 months, from 240 ... 300 cm is approximately 3.5 months, and from 300 ... 580 cm is approximately 4.5 months (3 weeks during the construction industry holiday and 2 weeks NOT included during Christmas and New Year).
For brushed teak (roughened surface) a surcharge of 10% applies to the above prices.
We often get the question if we don't have a piece of teak "somewhere" from which a certain plank can be cut. Occasionally we do have individual teak sheets in stock, but going to cut them with the aim of removing your desired size from the board has many disadvantages:
1. it produces a lot of waste, and the price will therefore be higher than what has been indicated above.
2. Sawing into existing blades means that the internal key construction with which the teak parts are connected to each other becomes visible.
3. Because the position of the wedge construction is no longer adjusted on the blade sawn to size afterwards, and the structural strength must now come purely from gluing, this increases the chance of the blade tearing.
We therefore always advise you to take delivery time for granted, which results in the cheapest, nicest and best plank or beam.
