Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus does not contain water or organic solvents. The product consists mainly of natural ingredients.

The technology: colors and protects via molecular bonding

Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus anchors itself in the upper microns of the wood by forming a molecular bond with the fibers (no film formation, no saturation method). Consumption is therefore much lower than with a traditional system.

Durable protection

The molecular bond develops durable and resistant protection. To achieve this molecular bond, it is important to respect the exposure time of a few minutes. The better the fibers are bonded, the stronger the protection.

No overlaps

Once all free cellulose fibers have been molecularly bonded, excess or new product is no longer absorbed by the wood or by the bonded Monocoat layer itself, so that no overlaps or indentations occur.

Time-saving: application in 1 single layer

Applying a second layer to a surface treated with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus is pointless, as it will not be able to bond with free wood fibers or with the underlying - already bonded - Monocoat layer.

Easy to renovate

This technology allows damage or scratches to be repaired locally without causing overlaps: only the released wood fibers will absorb product. Product that ends up next to the scratch does not stick.

The unique Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus pigment technology allows you to obtain an intense and deep coloring in a single layer, without affecting the natural appearance of the wood. Available in a range of 40 contemporary shades.
